  1. This would’ve been a wonderful process to document with a time-lapse sort of approach, making a video out of it. The last stage seemed like quite a courageous act of creativity, putting so much black over what already appeared to be a finished piece. You achieved with your technique was photographers do with aperture controlling depth-of-field (creating a narrow depth to show in focus only that which they want you to focus on).

    The painting resonates with me very much. All the different stages of creation serve as a metaphor of stages in nature, from birth to adolescence through adulthood and maturity.

    If you endeavor into something similar again, please do let me know and I’d love to document it and make it part of a culture/art review vlog.
