1. I was so pleased to find this history of the Onondago Silk Mill. The building has always fascinated me. Whenever I pass it, I try to imagine what it must have been like there before the business closed, and building fell into disrepair.

    My great-aunt was a seamstress there for many years, and would bring home scraps of fabric that were destined for the scrap bin..
    When I was very sickly as a child, she lovingly-stitched these scraps into a quilt for me.
    m It has always been a comfort to me,and one of my most cherished possessions. I still use it on my bed today.
